3. Delta Children LX Side by Side
This bare-bones double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent choice for parents looking for an affordable, second-hand travel stroller. It scored high in our Strollers and Multiples Test for its weight and folded dimensions, meaning it is lightweight and compact when folded and easy to lift and store into a car trunk. It also offers the option of reclining in multiple positions and a parent cup holder. Other key features include two large hanging storage bags as well as 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels.
In our test of the push and turn it performed better than most of the other strollers of a similar price we tried, but it's not the most maneuverable over uneven ground or through narrow doorways. The sunshades it has are among the smallest we tested, offering only direct overhead coverage, and no windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have much larger canopy sizes.
The Delta took us just under 3 minutes to put together using an average manual, and none of the components required tools. However, it is missing some essential features we believe you should not compromise on in a double stroller, like a large basket and reclining seats that have adjustable leg rests.

The front wheels can be locked in a forward position or allow them to swivel which is helpful when traversing rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to swivel while walking along a stony path. It handled this reasonably well, though it did seem to be a bit more bumpy.
